Supporting
Civil Society Organizations

We promote social, economic, cultural, environmental and human development for people and communities that have had their rights historically denied.

PWA seeks to empower communities through education, media and capacity building. PWA supports a variety of charitable and social welfare projects.

Education

PWA supports initiatives aimed at education, exchanges, and actions that contribute to the construction of a critical consciousness, offering tools that promote human rights and change.

Media

PWA supports journalism that betters the lives of impacted communities. PWA promotes not-for-profit and community media that investigate public interest issues relevant to marginalized populations, and which are traditionally overlooked in the mainstream media.

Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture

PWA supports agroecological initiatives for local communities to promote sustainable farming methods, to ensure marginalized peoples have access to food as well as contribute to more environmentally conscious agricultural practices.
